eDebtSolutions provides professional non-attorney petition preparer services assisting consumers in filing Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy petitions electronically with an interactive internet program, or in the more traditional fashion of a telephone or office conference. Your initial petition information is gathered from information provided to us over our secured internet site. You may file solely or as spouses. Upon receipt of a paid request for assistance, the information you have provided will be reviewed immediately. We will then contact you at the telephone number or e-mail address you have provided within 24 hours of receipt of your paid request for representation.

At this first contact, we will confirm the accuracy all information previously provided, and we can schedule a later and more convenient telephone or office conference for you at this time if you wish. Once your complete Bankruptcy petition has been prepared, you will be notified so that you may review the accuracy of your debts and finances prior to the filing date. The Bankruptcy Code requires that you affirm the accuracy of all information contained in your Bankruptcy.

Our services are limited to the preparation of you petition and schedules, because non-attorney petition preparers are not authorized to practice law and therefore cannot provide you with legal advice. However, a completed petition can be easily reviewed and adopted by most Bankruptcy attorneys if you should decide that you want to retain legal counsel for your Bankruptcy as well. Your petition would have to be prepared no matter what, so a Bankruptcy attorney should not charge you again for this same service of preparing your petition, rather an attorney should simply charge you for legal analysis of your petition and schedules, and additional acts that that are normally considered the practice of law such as court appearances.

Please keep in mind that paying an attorney to review and analyze your Bankruptcy petition may save you much more in the long run than you may spend on the attorney’s fees. Please also keep in mind that it is highly unlikely, if not impossible, to get adequate relief in a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy from a non-attorney petition preparer. You should absolutely have legal representation during your reorganization or debt consolidation proceedings.

If you are interested in filing for Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 Bankruptcy relief, then click eCH7 or eCH13 to begin the process and type in the ID: eDebtSolutions and your social security number, or you may contact us directly to discuss your filing or to schedule an office appointment.
